In the 15th century, in the midst of the 100 Years War, the kingdom of France was on the verge of ceding its crown to the British. The death of the Duke of Burgundy feeds tensions between the men of the King of France (the Armagnacs) and the Burgundians. Looting, fires, rapes are customary during this endless war.
